Customer Protection

In the interest of protecting yourself, the customer, any contractor that you choose to work with must have a C-33 license, liability insurance, and workers compensation insurance. Your prospective contractor should supply you with insurance certificates. If there is a problem with either of those requests, you should be very careful in proceeding with them. We at Bob Slater Painting are licensed, fully insured and bonded protecting you and my employees.

  • Request references from prospective contractors & check them!

  • If the contractor is providing lead paint abatement services, check to see if the contractor is accredited to do this work.​

  • Get a copy of the contractor's current insurance certificates.​

  • Pay no more than 10% of the contract price as a down payment.
