Bob Slater

Bob has resided in California over 65 years. Having grown up in San Fernando Valley, Bob attended James Monroe High School and attended California State University in Northridge on a baseball scholarship. In June 1976, Bob was drafted by the California Angels and began his boyhood dream as a professional baseball player. His playing days lasted until the spring of 1980 in Triple AAA until injuries ended his career, but not his passion. Bob continued working with young athletes, from Little League to the college level including his sons, Bobby and Brett.

Having resided in Yorba Linda for 34 years and in the painting business for 38 years, Bob has established a wide range of customers and clients. Bob says, “Competition has always been a part of my life, and it’s no different in the painting business. It’s all about customer service, customer satisfaction, and going the extra mile.”

Bob is a member of Yorba Linda Friends Church along with his wife Laurie and two sons, Bobby and Brett. Bob was a member of a Convene business group for 7 years, which is a gathering of Christian CEOs and Business Owners helping each other build exceptional businesses, increase leadership success, and have greater Kingdom impact.
